You Don't Get What You WANT

You don't manifest what you WANT because you manifest an outer reflection of your inner vibrational frequency. When you WANT something, you are in lack. You are radiating lack and attracting its reflection. You get what you ARE. Therefore, if you desire peace, you must cultivate an inner consciousness of peace. If you want joy, you must cultivate an inner consciousness of joy. If you want fulfillment, you must cultivate an inner consciousness of fulfillment. A Course In Miracles lesson 103 says God, being love, is happiness. When you cultivate an inner consciousness in alignment with God's loving presence, the outer manifestation MUST be happiness.
